.Analog and digital signal.

   Analog signal is represented by sine waves and the example for analog signal is human’s voice. Analog signal cannot be read by the computers and it is more suitable for the transmission of audio. Analog memory is stored in the form of wave signal.

Digital signal is represented by square wave and only consists of digit 1 and 0. Digital signal can only understand by the computers and digital electronic devices. Digital memory is stored in the form of binary bit.

 LAN or Local Area Network is more suitable to use in small geographical area such as home or office. Basically, LAN network refers to a particular internet connection within several kilometers and it is encourage to share resources by using the same network system and application software . For LAN, bus and ring topology is generally used. LAN has a better connection as compared to WAN and MAN. LAN’s connections are fast because it only covered a small area. LAN provides easy distributing processing for computers because LAN connection can be counted as a high performance server.

A lot of people will confused between the function of a hub and router. Hub is a repeater. It provides central connection point for cable from workstation. In the other words, it collects the data and sends to other ports in the hub. Computers will decide the message should be ignored or not. Data that passes along the hub will ensure it will reach its final destination.

Routers are said to link the different network together. In the other words, router is a device which joins the networks together. Router will have network cards which connected to the network. Basically, router can connect any number of networks as it has network card for each of the network.

Wireless technology is a convenient network as we can connect to the internet no matter where we are. To stay connected to the internet, we didn’t have to carry the cable or wires around and it costs lesser than the wired connection. WIFI is the common and most widely used nowadays. However, the connectivity of wireless to the internet is weaker then wired network.

4G is the fourth generation wireless and enables the mobile data to exceed at 100 Mbit/sec. the term that used for 4G is Long Term Evolution (LTE) which is known as the fastest mobile internet experience in delivering data. Phone will connected to 4G LTE network whenever we are with a strong connectivity.
